Graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Moscow with the highest honors in all disciplines (soloist, chamber musician, teacher) and holder of the doctoral diploma of teaching and interpretation, Rena Shereshevskaya began her teaching career at the famous Central Music School for gifted children at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow where she taught for 12 years; in 1991 she was invited to the Ippolitov-lvanov Higher Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Moscow as head of the piano department and piano teacher. The pianist also leads a solo career and plays in the USSR and in Eastern European countries.
After teaching from 1990 to 1993 at the master classes of the International Festival of Colmar, she was invited to the Conservatoire de Colmar to organize a piano class for early and future professionals; at the same time, she teaches at CNSMD in Paris.
Currently, she is a professor at the Rueil-Malmaison Regional Conservatory where she assures the class of soloists and higher levels. She also teaches at the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris / Alfred Cortot.
Rena Shereshevskaya gives master classes all over the world, France, United States, Canada, Italy, China, Monaco ... and is a member or president of the jury of various international competitions. Professor sought by professionals, she has among her students many winners of major international competitions. Latest, Rémi Geniet, won the 2nd Prize at the 2013 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels and Lucas Debargue at the Tchaikovsky Competition.
His students perform throughout the world in recital or with orchestra, in the most prestigious halls such as Gaveau, Pleyel (Paris), Carnegie Hall (New York), the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Moscow), etc.
She has performed in chamber music with musicians such as Henri Demarquette, Laurent Cabasso, Victor Dernovski, and Urmas Tammik, and for years has been forming a duet with the Russian soprano Ludmila Slepneva, honorary artist of the Russian Federation, soloist of the Mannheim Opera House (Germany) as well as with Vladimir Chernov (baritone) performs numerous titles at Metropolitan Opera, La Scala in Milan, Opera Bastille, Bolshoi ... "
Rena Shereshevskaya is also the designer and artistic director of the "Dynasties and Artistic Families" cycle and president of the eponymous association she created.
