Born in 1965, Bruno Tomba studied at the Conservatoire National de Region (CNR) in Nancy in the class of his father, Dino Tomba. After winning first prize unanimously Nancy CNR and the first prize of the inter-regional competition, he is first prize unanimously, first appointed at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris (CNSMDP) in the class of Pierre Thibaud.After being, for seven years, solo trumpet at the National Orchestra of Capitole de Toulouse, he was appointed trumpet solo supersolist Orchestra of Paris in September 1992. He performs as soloist with the National Chamber Orchestra of Toulouse , the Toulouse Capitol Orchestra, the Nancy Orchestra and the Orchester de Paris. He also gives chamber music concerts with the soloists of the Orchester de Paris, the French brass, the ensemble of trumpets of Paris and other brass ensembles.Bruno Tomba began teaching in 1985 at the Conservatoire du Mans, then at the National School of Music in Troyes. In 1999, he obtained his Certificate of Proficiency as a trumpet teacher and became a professor at the Conservatoire du XIIe arrondissement in Paris, then assistant professor at the CNSMDP in 2007.Since 2002, Bruno Tomba has been a trainer on the "Finale" software at the Paris City Hall and professor of computer-assisted musical engraving at the Pôle Supérieur Paris Boulogne Billancourt since 2009.
